Drafting Gear publishes product guides, comparisons, and informational content about drafting tools, equipment, and workspace products. Some links on this website are affiliate links, which means Drafting Gear may receive compensation when a reader follows a link and completes a qualifying purchase or other eligible transaction.
Using an affiliate link does not add an extra charge to your purchase.
When Drafting Gear Earns a Commission
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Drafting Gear participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for websites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
If you follow an eligible Amazon link from Drafting Gear and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. This commission is paid through the affiliate program and does not increase the price you pay for the product.
Does This Influence What We Recommend?
Earning a commission does not guarantee that a product will be included in one of our guides, nor does a higher potential commission make a product a better recommendation.
When comparing products, we focus on characteristics that are relevant to the particular type of drafting equipment being discussed. These can include dimensions, materials, adjustability, compatibility, intended use, documented features, and other practical differences that may help readers compare their options.
Some of our product coverage is based on research rather than personal, hands-on testing. We do not intend the presence of an affiliate link to imply that a product has been personally tested or purchased by Drafting Gear.
Affiliate Links Beyond Amazon
Amazon Associates may not be the only affiliate program used on Drafting Gear. We may work with other retailers, manufacturers, affiliate networks, or services when they are relevant to the products and topics we cover.
Where an eligible affiliate relationship applies, Drafting Gear may receive compensation from a purchase or other qualifying action made through one of these links. Unless otherwise stated by the retailer or service, this does not add an additional charge for using the affiliate link.
